Non-DoD agencies like CBP, TSA, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons also procure uniforms through SAM.gov. The AbilityOne program mandates sourcing certain textile products from nonprofits employing individuals with disabilities. Beyond uniforms, federal textile procurement includes body armor, ballistic fabrics, parachutes, tentage, and fire-resistant materials.
