GSA's EIS contract is the primary vehicle for federal telecom procurement, replacing the older Networx program. EIS covers a comprehensive range of services including MPLS, Ethernet, VoIP, SD-WAN, satellite, cloud connectivity, and managed network security. Firms holding EIS task order contracts have access to the entire federal civilian market. DoD telecommunications procurement flows through the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and individual military service branches.
