Contracts posted on SAM.gov range from $50,000 for pilot cloud migrations to $10 billion for enterprise cloud infrastructure vehicles like the DoD's Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability (JWCC) and CIA's Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E). FedRAMP authorization is the mandatory baseline for all cloud service providers selling to the federal government. Achieving FedRAMP High or DoD Impact Level 5 authorization significantly expands addressable market opportunities. GSA's Cloud Marketplace and agency-specific cloud BPAs provide primary procurement channels. Major cloud platform providers (AWS GovCloud, Microsoft Azure Government, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud) dominate infrastructure, but specialized SaaS and PaaS providers find strong opportunities.
