Special Inspections Services

The Trust is dedicated to safeguarding public housing in New York City. A government agency created in 2022 after unprecedented advocacy from New Yorkers eager for a solution to improve their homes and communities, the Trust repairs, renovates, and modernizes public housing for residents in partnership with the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). In 2023, the Trusts initial Board of Trustees was appointed, and the Trust started hiring its first employees.
