Q-ID-26-013 - Roster List for Engineering Services for Drainage Works

The Town of Essex is located in southwestern Ontario, approximately twenty-eight (28) kilometres southeast of the City of Windsor and is one of seven (7) lower‐tier municipalities in the County of Essex. The Town of Essex consists of four (4) distinct and unique Centres — Essex Centre, Colchester Centre, Harrow Centre and McGregor Centre. The current population of the Town of Essex is 21,216. The Town of Essex is soliciting the Request for Prequalification (RFPQ) from those individuals or companies with pertinent expertise, capabilities, experience and are interested in being considered as pre-qualified bidders to be placed on a roster of engineering service providers for municipal drainage works. This Request for Prequalification will be used to create a roster list for Engineering Services for Drainage Works conducted under the Drainage Act throughout the Town. The Review Committee will evaluate submitted Proposals and qualified Respondents will be assigned to this roster.Successful respondents assigned to the Engineering Services Roster shall provide consultation, design, construction, and contract administration as required for projects concerning Municipal Drains in the Town of Essex, as governed by the Drainage Act. The roster shall be valid for three years from date of award. During the term of the agreement, the Town reserves the right to assign projects to firms on the roster at their discretion and as they deem appropriate. There is no guarantee for specific volume or value of work assigned to a successful respondent placed on the Engineering Services Roster. Submission of a prequalification response indicates acceptance by the respondent of all of the terms and conditions contained in the Request for Prequalification unless clearly and specifically noted in the submission.
