AMD Zynq Field-Programmable Gate Array Evaluation Board

The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research and identify potential sources of commercial equipment/services that satisfy the Government’s anticipated needs. BACKGROUND The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Information Technology Laboratory (ITL) Quantum Information Group applies expertise in mathematical subdisciplines such as combinatorics, graph theory, network science, operations research, optimization, discrete nonlinear dynamics, computational geometry, quantum mechanics, and information theory. Researchers apply their knowledge and skills in areas such as the experimental quantum optics, fundamental models of physics, chemistry, biology, and information systems, complex systems analysis, pattern recognition, and quantum computing and communications. Quantum information routing and detection in deployed optical fibers require state-of-the-art field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) to be able to process single-photon detection information and make decisions that are comparable with the speed of light in optical fibers.
