Description of Requirement The purpose of this project is to make electrical repairs and replace existing fluorescent/incandescent lights with LEDs at the 200th Combat Weather Flight facility. The work described in the Statement of Work (SOW) includes the furnishing of all materials, equipment, and labor to perform the work. All work shall conform to industry standards, Unified Facilities Code (UFC), International Building Code (IBC), and NFPA-70 requirements. Any deviation from the manufacturer’s installation requirements must be approved prior to performing work on-site. Availability of Funds Statement: Funds are not presently available for this requirement. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. 5. Period of Performance The Government’s Period of Performance is sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). This timeframe must be inclusive of all project phases, including but not limited to material procurement, submittal approval, and installation. 7. Wage Determination The Construction Wage Rate Requirements (formerly known as the Davis-Bacon Wage Rates) are applicable to this project. The current wage determination(s) at the time of contract award will be formally incorporated into the final contract. 9. Quotation Submission Instructions Quotes must be submitted electronically to the Point of Contact listed in Section 2. Quoters must include pricing for all line items, a completed copy of provisions/clauses, and the following required submittal packages: Technical Narrative: A written proposal explaining how the Contractor intends to meet the SOW requirements.
