1. Description of Solicitation This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 2. Description of Requirement The purpose of this project is to make electrical repairs and replace existing fluorescent/incandescent lights with LEDs at the 200th Combat Weather Flight facility. The work described in the Statement of Work (SOW) includes the furnishing of all materials, equipment, and labor to perform the work. All work shall conform to industry standards, Unified Facilities Code (UFC), International Building Code (IBC), and NFPA-70 requirements. Any deviation from the manufacturer’s installation requirements must be approved prior to performing work on-site. Availability of Funds Statement: Funds are not presently available for this requirement. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. 5. Line Items CLIN Description QTY UI Unit Price Extended Price 0001 BASE – Electrical Work: Install two (2) new circuits and provide four (4) new receptacles. Repair one (1) exterior flood light. Remove and replace ten (10) 2'x4' light fixtures. All work as specified in the attached Statement of Work. 1 Job $________ $_________ OPTION 0002 OPTION 1 – Remove and Replace Lights: Remove and replace ten (10) 2'x4' and eleven (11) 2'x2' recessed troffer light fixtures. Remove and replace fourteen (14) 1'x2' pendant light fixtures, five (5) recessed can lights, and two (2) wall-mounted pendant lights. Period of Performance The Government’s Period of Performance is sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Information provided during this conference or site visit shall not modify the terms of the solicitation; changes are only valid if formal amendments are issued in writing. 8. Wage Determination The Construction Wage Rate Requirements (formerly known as the Davis-Bacon Wage Rates) are applicable to this project. The current wage determination(s) at the time of contract award will be formally incorporated into the final contract. 9. Quotation Submission Instructions Quotes must be submitted electronically to the Point of Contact listed in Section 2.
