The Legislature directed DCYF to grant funds totaling $140,000 for SFY2027. This current funding will allow defense attorneys and counties to apply for funding for sex offender evaluation and treatment programs pre-adjudication, provide sex offense specific training and education and increase treatment options for youth in local communities.
