The objective of this requirement is to obtain a comprehensive, data-driven assessment of the economic impact of tourism related to the FIFA World Cup 2026 on the U.S. economy. The study shall assess national and regional impacts, including visitor spending, tourism-related economic activity, sector-specific effects, employment impacts, and implications for U.S. travel exports and international visitation. The study shall provide the National Travel and Tourism Office and the International Trade Administration with defensible, transparent, and actionable analysis to support leadership decision-making, interagency coordination, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications.
