Full Description

 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole source contract modification to The Raytheon Company, Space and Airborne System Division, McKinney, TX for P-8A Poseidon APY-10 Radar Systems. This procurement shall also contain related support that includes Installation and Checkout Technical Support; Configuration Management; Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) support for obsolescence; Reliability and Maintainability; Failure Reporting and Corrective Actions (FRACAS); Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs); Integrated Logistics Support (ILS); Technical Data; and Repair of Repairables (RoR). This procurement is for an anticipated base of seven (7) Radar Systems and related support with the inclusion of two (2) option years for up to twenty (20) Systems per year. Deliveries are expected to be complete by FY29. These requirements will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.103-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Raytheon is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of these Systems with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data that can meet the Government requirements on a timely basis.  Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Raytheon directly via Scott McCrory via scott.mccrory@rtx.com.
