This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.  Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1190 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for The Germplasm Enhancement of Maize Project travels across the state of Iowa conducting maize breeding research. This seed counting carousel will be utilized to count yield trial location entries. The specific requirements for the carousel include compatibility with current planting equipment. Requirement is subject to Buy American FAR Clause 52.225-1 Buy American – Supplies (Sep 205) and FAR Provision in full text 52.225-2 Buy American Certificate (Sep 2025) is incorporated into this solicitation. FAILURE TO COMPLETE FAR PROVISION 52.225-2 BUY AMERICAN CERTIFICATE WILL RESULT IN YOUR QUOTATION NOT BEING CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
