This is a Sources Sought Notice only. It is neither a solicitation nor a request for a quote, and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Quotes received in response to this notice will not receive a response. The Government will not pay or reimburse any costs of preparing this response. The purpose of this notice is for market research purposes only and to make appropriate acquisition decisions to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 339112, Surgical and medical Instrument Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is seeking a business that can provide Orthopedic Microsurgical Instruments as follows: Lightweight, Durable, Surgical Grade, Reusable and Sharp (when applicable). NOTE: The following list includes instruments manufactured by Synovis Micro Companies Alliance, Inc. We are requesting information for an EQUAL product with the preference at this time is for domestic products.
