Information submitted in response to this notice is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Government is requesting that restrictive or proprietary markings not be used in response to this notice. If a solicitation is released, it is will be synopsized in the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website or GSA. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this RFI. The anticipated Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for the North American Classification code (NAICS) 611420 is $16M.
1. Purpose: The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) hereby issues the following Sources Sought Notice as a Request for Information (RFI). This RFI is being used for Market Research purposes only to seek contractors with the capability to provide the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) with all labor, tools materials, supplies, equipment, cabling, licensing, personnel, supervision and transportation required to provide the development of the Agitation 360 program IAW attached draft Statement of Work. 2. Place of Performance: Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center 2200 Fort Roots Drive North Little Rock, AR 72114 3. Opportunity: CAVHS is seeking information from potential contractors on their ability to provide this service. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. Small Business Concerns are encouraged to provide responses to this RFI to assist the CAVHS in determining potential levels of competition available in the industry. Little Rock / North Little Rock, AR 1.0 Background
The Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Centers (GRECCs) are Veterans Affairs geriatric centers of excellence focused on aging. Established by Congress in 1975 in order to improve the health and health care of older Veterans, the centers are located at 20 medical locations across the country and each is connected with a major research university. The GRECCs have three main missions:
To build new knowledge in geriatric care through research. To improve health care for older Veterans through the development of innovative clinical models of care; and
To provide training and education on best practices in caring for older adults for students in healthcare disciplines and VA staff.

Agitation 360 will be a virtual tour of a simple home situation with an agitated patient and a caregiver. The application will follow a storyboard similar to previous work by the Emerging Analytics Center (EAC) at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UA Little Rock), which allows participants in the role of the caregiver, to experience a walk through of a virtual space and to interact with the character of an agitated patient.
