PURPOSE OF NOTICE This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice only. No proposals or pricing are being requested at this time. The National Park Service (NPS), Southeast Region, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for construction services to reconstruct pedestrian facilities at Mammoth Cave National Park. 2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Government intends to issue a solicitation for the reconstruction of the Sand Cave Boardwalk and associated pedestrian infrastructure at Mammoth Cave National Park, Kentucky. Work includes, but is not limited to: ¿ Demolition of existing site features ¿ Installation of new at-grade concrete trail ¿ Construction of boardwalks and overlooks ¿ Associated site work as shown in project drawings and specifications ¿ All work shall comply with Attachment 1 ¿ NPS MACA Project Specifications (dated 1/21/2026) and Attachment 2 ¿ Project Drawings, to be issued with the formal solicitation. 3. PROCUREMENT METHOD ¿ Solicitation Type: Request for Proposal (RFP) ¿ Acquisition Method: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) ¿ Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) ¿ Set-Aside: 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside 4. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The anticipated performance period is: 180 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). 6.
