INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - Jane's Online Digital Platform and License

Synopsis: MICC-West Point intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of RFO FAR 12.102(a) “Only one source available” based on the company being the sole provider for the supplies/services and is therefore the only source capable of satisfying the Government requirements. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with: JANE’S GROUP UK LIMITED 69 Park Lane Croydon   CR0 1JD United Kingdom This is a new requirement for a subscription for Jane’s online database for the United States Military Academy Library. The NAICS Code is 519290 – IT and Telecom – Platform Products: Database, Mainframe, Middleware (Hardware and Perpetual License Software) with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
