Full Description
6/2/2026 Amendment 4 - Amendment 4 was issued to correct Attachment 3. 5/26/2026 Amendment 3 – Amendment 3 was issued to answer offeror questions, see below. Attachment 1 and Attachment 3 to the solicitation have been revised and are attached. 1. For stand-up trucks (CLIN 0001, 0002), the operator stands on a deadman switch, & does not operate a brake - for those items, is this requirement valid? If so, would a reverse warning light (activated while the truck travels in reverse) be considered in place of brake lights? Answer: See requirement change on the revised Attachment 1 2. On some trucks, for their durability, solid polyurethane steer tires are typically used in place of solid rubber tires. Will solid polyurethane tires be considered? Answer: Solid rubber tires or solid polyurethane steer tires will be acceptable. 3. CLIN 0003 & 0004 specify an 82" OACH - is there a tolerance on this requirement? Answer: A 3-staged high visibility mast is required on CLINs 0003 and 0004. See requirement change on the revised Attachment 1 4. Should the government exercise option periods/contract extensions, is there any option for pricing renegotiation within the potential 5yr term? Answer: No. This will be a firm fixed price contract 5. To our knowledge, there are no small business OEMs of this product mix - will the government consider a non-manufacturer waiver, or free and open competition for this opportunity? Answer: The solicitation is a small business set-aside. NAICS 333924 has a non-manufacturer rule class waiver. 5/19/2026 Amendment 2 – Amendment 2 was issued to remove the requirement for side mirrors on CLINs 0001 and 0002. 5/8/2026 Amendment 1 – Amendment 1 was issued to answer offeror questions, see below: 1. What is the required Elevated Fork Height for each truck model? In other words, to what elevated height from the floor are these trucks required to lift? Answer: CLIN 0001 and 0002 - Lift Hight Minimum 13’. CLIN 0003 and CLIN 0004 require a 3-Stage high visibility mast. Any standard 3-Stage mast will meet the lift height requirement. 2. Will the Government accept industry-standard OEM downrating at the specified elevated fork height? or is the Government requiring full 4,000 lb capacity at the full elevated height? For example, a 4,000lb. capacity at ground level will likely downrate to 3,000lbs. at 180” elevated fork height Answer: Industry Standard 4k 3. Is this contract FOB origin? If not, would need destination addresses to provide firm fixed-price delivery amounts for each individual truck. Answer: The contract is FOB Destination; the delivery location could be any DLA Disposition Services operating location in the Continental United States (CONUS). The solicitation will result in an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Forklifts will be ordered on funded task orders, which will state the specific delivery location.
