Presolicitation Notice for HT941026QE035 for Edwards HemoSphere Alta monitors for Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), HI. The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity Healthcare Contracting Division – West, Bldg 339 Clark Road, Ft Shafter, HI 96858 in support of Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii, intends to make a sole source award to Edwards Lifesciences LLC for the purchase of the HEMOSPHERE ALTA ALL ON ONE BUNDLE WITH SWAN CCO CABLE, OXIMETRY CABLE, ACUMEN IQ/CLEARSIGHT, FORESIGHT, PRESSURE CABLE FOR ACUMEN IQ/FLOTRAC, AND HPI.  The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is RFO FAR 12.102-1(a) which authorizes the government for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), to solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.  The NAICS code is 339112.  This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under RFO FAR 5.201 and 5.203.  This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes.
