AI-ENABLED TRANSLATION AND POST-EDITING SERVICES (MTPE MODEL)

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to seek information from industry on their ability to supply to CMHC modern and AI-enabled translation solutions, that support a transition to a scalable, efficient, and high-quality MTPE model aligned with Government of Canada requirements. The objectives of this RFI are to: • Identify available AI-enabled linguistic solutions (including NMT and LLM-based systems) • Assess functional, technical, and operational capabilities • Explore opportunities for workflow automation and integration • Understand cost structures and potential efficiencies • Identify risks, including security, data governance, and AI limitations • Gather industry insights and innovative approaches • Support the refinement of a future strategy to define an AI-driven translation model incorporating Machine Translation and Human Post-Editing (MTPE).
