Sources Sought: Fluid Filter Element (NSN 1650-01-642-2829)

Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to determine if other companies are capable of manufacturing (or legitimately obtaining) the following item: NSN 1650-01-642-2829, fluid filter element.  This item is currently manufactured by PTI Technologies Inc. (CAGE 05228) under part number 7595726-101 and Purolator Facet Inc. (CAGE 90005) under part number Q204900M.  The Weapon System Designator Code is E2A.  This Sources Sought Notice is for informational purposes only.  This is not a request for an offer.  This does not constitute as a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government.  Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement.  No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement.  Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary. Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to manufacture (or legitimately obtain) the above listed supplies are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by June 8, 2026, 2:00pm eastern standard time . If there is an open solicitation for an NSN which you want to submit a SAR, please submit the SAR directly to the buyer noted on the solicitation.
