Legislative Education, Information and Tools Program (LEIT)

The Washington State Developmental Disabilities Council is accepting proposals for the LEIT program. This project is a redesign of what was called Advocacy Partnership Program (APP). The purpose of this program is to support statewide advocacy for people with developmental disabilities (DD) and their families by strengthening community-led influence in public policy, protecting individual rights, improving equitable access to services, and promoting culturally responsive systems of support.
