This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice  This Pre-Solicitation notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 6, Salem VA Medical Center intends to solicit proposals from contractors in the Open Market to procure the Brand Name or Equal Boss Salt Spreader for Salem VA Medical Center located at 1970 Roanoke Blvd Salem VA 24153.  The Department of Veterans Affairs anticipates issuing Solicitation, 36C24626Q0833 for this requirement on or about August 03, 2026. This acquisition will be for Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 333112 with a size standard of 1500 employees.  Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and delivery necessary for the Boss Salt Spreader. Period of Performance will be for a Base requirement.  Offerors are responsible for downloading all documents, copies of the solicitation and including amendments from Contracting Opportunities at sam.gov website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.  All correspondence and responses shall be via e-mail to ruth.morris@va.gov.
