This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for market research and planning purposes in support of an upcoming requirement for the 22nd Contracting Squadron at McConnell AFB in Wichita, KS. This RFI does not constitute a solicitation and does not commit the Government to any future acquisition. 22 CONS is conducting market research for a requirement to purchase the following:  One Maintenance stand custom made to fit the curvature of KC-46. Must meet the following: •Adjustable Deck Height: This stand easily adjusts from 88" to 126", can be locked in place at 3" increments. Use handles on backside of the stand to raise or lower ‘counter balanced deck’ with little effort..... ’No Hydraulics’. •Hand Rails: “Signature” design of heavy wall 1.5" round steel tubing mounted to stair rail in two places at lower end. This design avoids potential damage and creates a very sturdy unit both in up and down and side to side action. The stand is very easy to maneuver by hand. •Steps & Deck: Galvanized steel Grip Strut with signature baked on safety yellow leading edge. •Towable: Heavy Duty Towbar. •Wheel Chocks: Standard on all stands. •O.S.H.A: compliant Forward ascent & descent stair. Heavy Duty steel construction. More than ample cross bracing for durability and long service life.
