This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.  Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0282 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for The work includes Installation of new HVAC system and electrical power upgrades at the  Pollinating Insect-Biology Management, Systematics Research Unit at Utah State University 880 EAST 1400 NORTH, Logan, UT 84131.   This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors.  The small business size standard is $19M.  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.  A mandatory site visit is required to be technically acceptable.  Please see the paragraph titled “Mandatory Site Visit” in the full solicitation for registration requirements, location, and date.   Questions shall be submitted via emailed to david.hildebrand@usda.gov and are due no later than April 23, 2026 at 12:00 PM Mountain time.  This will ensure enough time to respond before the solicitation period ends.  Please include the solicitation name and number as the subject line of the email.
