| The Contractor must provide a maintenance Log associated with each piece of equipment, there is a maintenance log in every elevator, but the contractors must keep a maintenance log for their files. 2. The Contractor must record details of maintenance and repair services in the maintenance logs in a manner to clearly show the Contractor's conformance to the Maintenance Services, and the applicable Codes and Standards, as described in the Safety Codes. This log may be used as proof of delivery should there be any discrepancies between services rendered and the service invoices. If in question of a repair being completed. The contractor can prove their work with their logs. 3. The Contractor must adhere to the maintenance requirements and intervals provided within the Elevating Devices Log as a minimum.
